I love and miss you!
How was your day today? Did you have fun playing? Do you like to play dolls? What is your favorite game?
When I was little, I loved to play dolls. I would play house and pretend I was a mom and took care of my babies. I also loved to play with my barbie dolls. I had one that was a real barbie, with black short hair, the other one was not a real barbie, but I loved to play with them both. My dog got into my barbies and chewed my one and that mad me sad. My cousin and I would play for hours in her bedroom and mine. I remember she had lots more fun accessories than I did, so I loved to play at her house.
I loved to go to my other cousin's house and play in her attic. She had a pretend stove and refrigerator and even a talking doll. I felt like I was in heaven when I got to go to her house. I remember the old chimney that took up the middle of the room and how it was kinda dark, but it was sure fun.
It's a lot of fun being a little girl. Enjoy yourself. In life, even when we get big, we must learn to play and have fun. If we take life to seriously, we will be too stressed to be productive. We do need to be serious sometimes and work hard too because God's word tells us that the "diligent will be rich". Diligence just means that we work hard when we work and play hard when we play. It's important to stop and smell the roses.
Speaking of roses - Sarah, you would love the beautiful flowers that sprouted out of my big cactus plant in Grandma's front yard. I'm sending a picture with this blog. The Lord has done such great things in my life and when I look at the beautiful flowers it reminds me of His love for us.
Here they are:
I hope it will remind you of my love for you, my beautiful Sarah!
Love, hug and kisses.
Grandma
